Abdominal Bloating

I have had a lot of recurring UTI’s / yeast infection type problems over the past year and a half. They tend to go and then come back. Around 6 months ago my stomach started to bloat significantly more than usual and doesn’t really go away. I’ve also had swelling and itchiness down below that’s not going. Been to the doctor had an ultrasound but nothing shown and having more blood tests etc now. Has anyone had any of these symptoms together before?

Have you tried Canesten Thrush Combi, about £10 from Amazon?

This forum is for people who have heart arrhythmia's, that's where the heart beats out of rhythm. Do you have this condition? If so let us know what medication you take, just in case that could be the cause.

To help calm an over abundance of yeast in your body. I would cut out all sugar and mushrooms, eat natural live yogurts, lots of garlic laden food and perhaps take a course of aloe vera capsules. All very old remedies, hopefully you could Google some more modern ones.

Physalis, has also suggested one modern method you may want to try. However that type of tablet/cream cure is not generally recommended for people aged over 60. I'm sure there is something your GP could provide on prescription too.

Hope this helps.

I used it last year and I'm well over 60. I think that if you are over 60 you are unlikely to suffer from thrush and should get it checked out in case it is something else.

What did the doctor say about the itchiness?

I think this reply was meant for j-2000 not me. Not something I suffer with.

Well I have not had these symptoms together, but I guess they could be related somehow. Doctors are not especially empathetic when women have these type of issues. However, for UTIs I discovered a product called Target from uqora.com. It has really helped. I can't use the Control product they sell because it contains green tea which has caffeine. I have used AZO and cranberry before, but they did not always work. You may want to give Target a try. Uqora also sells a product for vaginal health, but I haven't tried that. The products on uqora have great reviews which helped me decide to give them a try.

Not what you're looking for?
