Dronedarone

Hello Everybody,

I suffer from AF and hadn’t had a session since end of April then suddenly a long session which would not cease with Flecainide at 300mg over 24 hours.

I went to A and E and had a cardioversion which was successful ( hopefully) and have been prescribed Dronedarone ( Multaq). I’m now expecting to have an ablation soon. Blood tests are organised with the hospital.

Has anybody else had any experience with this medication? It would be helpful to hear.

I haven't myself but my neighbour is on dronedarone and she has been very pleased with it

She used to be virtually housebound but now walks yet dog every day.
