I probably shouldn’t be reading posts today. It just emphasises that everyone reacts differently to both the procedure and recovery. Having reread the post ablation sheet, and being glad I’m having a full GA, I will try to just “go with the flow” and not push it afterward.
At least this time I won’t ask the nurse to remove the thing stuck in my throat afterward but go straight for the paracetamol gargle. See you all on the other side. I do think we are very fortunate and get well looked after in Australia, especially in these COVID19 times.
Best wishes to all. Di

Thanks Everyone for your good wishes. Like childbirth you fortunately do forget the initial few hours post but I am now doing well and waiting to be discharged in a few hours. Is seems they just had to zap a few areas that had were still firing so it was much quicker than the first time. Now home for couch time - the dog will love it! Take care and stay safe Di
