Bisoprolol - what time of the day

What time of the day do you take your bisoprolol? I take my one daily dose around 4 PM because of the way it makes me feel (tired..), but still getting a lot of ectopics in the morning.. Did you notice better results when splitting into 2 doses?

I have to take bisoprolol as I have AFlutter as well as AFib and am on flecanide.

I am on 2.5 mg a day and find it best to take 1.25 9am and 1.25 around 7 pm

As it's a cumulative drug it is ok to split the dose over 24 hours I was told. It helps me to feel less weary!

I had a phone consultation with the cardiologist today and she said its totally okay to split the daily dose.. also it might work better as my HR sometimes goes into 40s during sleep..

I take 2.5 at 10.00 and 2.5 at 21.00 each day. I think it’s more psychological to take it in 2 separate doses to be honest but it’s about personal choice I think

Thanks for your reply. My cardiologist apparently thinks its better to split as my HR goes quite low at night..

I take 10mg at 10am. I have tried splitting the dose but I had more attacks for some reason.
