That lump sounds familiar - it may take a few weeks to reduce and dissolve. Paracetamol is the only thing I ever take.

I had a lump so I was just really careful with the area in general whilst everything was still healing. It went away on its own after a week or so after appearing.

Paracetamol was what I took.

Hi Stingray, had my ablation 15/06/20 and I also have a lump. It is starting to reduce in size and I have just been taking paracetamol. Hope it improves soon.

I had a lump after my first ablation and was told it’s quite common and of no concern unless it’s the skin around is red and warm to touch which could indicate infection. In that case you need to contact the hospital. Otherwise I’m afraid it’s just paracetamol and time. Hope it heals soon.

Same as ETFC, no need to contact hospital unless hot and inflamed. I still have slight lump and I'm 5.5 weeks post ablation. Paracetamol would help.

I didn't have any issues right after but did notice lumps on both sides a few days later (which may be related to me doing more activity than I should have) which gradually went away over a few weeks.

I had lumps on both sides of my groin, as they had catheters on both sides for my ablation. I think they took about 4 to 6 weeks before they were gone.
