To be honest I can't remember how I bruised before I started taking it. Think it's much the same as has always been.

I've been on warfarin for about 18 years and have always bruised quite easily. However I notice that I do bruise easily on my fingers e.g. when opening stubborn bottle or jar tops....can be quite dramatic but disappears fairly quickly.

Yes I did, I also found that wounds took longer to heal.

My husband grabbed my wrist to stop me tickling him and was horrified to see thumb and fingerprints appear later! Yes, I bruise easily, I always have but more so now. I am more curious than alarmed, I see a new bruise and am often not even aware of how it happened.

I m 14 years on blood thinner and it's normal to bruise easily. Our blood is thinner but as long as the bruise is not big and INR is in the range it's nothing to worry.
