A lot changes in 7 years - Xaerelto wasn’t in common use then - mostly Warfarin as anticoagulant - I remember 2013 being offered this very new drug - Pradaxa which was the first DOAC to market. Some foods interact with Warfarin which is why caution was suggested but in my experience, few doctors or pharmacist will say much - simply because there is little or no studies they can quote from. From everything I have looked at there is no evidence that Cider Vinegar interacted with Warfarin or any other anticoagulant.
I think it is always good advice to leave a few hours between taking something like Cider Vinegar and taking your meds.
I take cider apple from the mother daily. I don’t take capsules as I really don’t trust what may be in them and it’s often the gel capsule or additives which cause problems for me.
1 Tablespoon of Organic Cider Apple from the mother, 1 Teaspoon of Honey and fill mug with warm water. My godmother did this daily all her long life and I never knew her to suffer a cold but also great for lots of other things such as digestive issues - but needs to be organic and from the mother to be affective, most are not. ‘From the mother’ means that it hasn’t been pasteurised - Cider Vinegar is a fermented juice and if you pasteurise or process you kill the very helpful active bacteria.
Hope that helps.
I have cider vinegar every day as part of a homemade vinaigrette. I'm on warfarin and it has no effect on my INR. Capsules must have a tiny amount in comparison and be very expensive!
Maybe if you drank a gallon a day!
Asking a pharmacist would give you the best answer or look online at drug interaction checker.
