Bisoprolol withdrawal and coughing

Bisoprolol withdrawal. Hi all, anyone notice having a tickly cough when on a phased withdrawal from Bisoprolol? (I don't have the virus!). Stay safe everyone and good luck.

I didn't experience that symptom when I stopped, but I did have lots of others.

How can you be sure you don't have the virus? Have you been tested?

I hope you don’t mind me asking. Have you experienced a tachycardia rebound? And how long did that last, or did you take another beta blocker?

Had no symptoms...even though i simply stopped, and didn’t phase gradually. My doctor told me it wasn’t necessary to phase it gradually.

I can’t emphasise how much better I felt: a new woman!

Cheers and pleased for you! I'm on 1.2mg each day and will end it completely in 3 weeks which I'm happy to do. After further discussions with my GP it's likely I have acid reflux of all things!!

Hope you are as delighted to be off Bisoprolol as I was. Hadn’t realised that the appalling side effects were caused by it until I came off it.
