I have changed from Xarelto to Apixaban . I now have really upset gut and tight chest . Is it just me being neurotic or have others experienced this ? I don stand much chance of getting it changed now. I cMe iff Xarelto because of increasing joint pain.

Hope you are all well.

I chose Apixaban because it seems to be the most popular and least likely to cause side effects. I don't tolerate meds very well so was a bit nervous but I've been on it about 4 months and not had any problems at all.

Hi I have been on Apixaban for 10years with no ill effects. I do however take one after breakfast then one after supper twelve hours apart. I find it’s kinder on the stomach . To date have had no problems. I wish you well.

Hello, I have been on Apixaban since an ablation seven years ago. I take am/pm after meals and have not had any side effects. Can you call your health direct for advice during this pandemic...better than worrying about it.🤗
