Aspirin
Hello Black, I am not medically trained but aspirin is not recommended in the UK for patients with AF. However, it is prescribed for patients certain other medical conditions. Regardless of whether or not it can cause itching, this is something you should discuss with your doctor......
I think Aspirin is one of the most dangerous drugs you can take, certainly not for daily use.
I had similar symptoms before I developed penicillin allergy. It is possible to be dangerously allergic to aspirin (my sister-in-law went into anaphylactic shock after accidentally taking a medication with aspirin in) so I don't think I'd take any more if you are sure it is the aspirin causing symptoms.
I had always taken it for headaches with no problem but a daily dose of prescribed tiddly aspirin upset my stomach badly.
Itchy skin could mean a sensitivity to aspirin.
Apart from Anaphylactic shock the next dreaded sensitivity reaction to something your body doesn’t like is Urticaria. I had six months of Idiopathic Urticaria about 20yrs ago and it stopped and came just like that. Six months of the most dreadful hives and itching through the summer. So may be worth talking to your GP quickly before your body reacts differently than just an itch.
