Medication in different time zones

Hi I am off to NY for 5 days and am looking for advice how to deal with the time difference for taking Apixaban,do I just keep a watch on at UK time and have to wake up in the middle of the night ! Any advice please

What I always did was start to move the times I took my tablets by an hour for several days before travelling so by the time I arrived it was manageable. NY is only -5 hours so you should be able attune within 48 hours. An hour or two either way is not going to make much difference. I find adjusting to 8 hour difference is the worst!
