Sitting at Royal Brompton today waiting for my consultation re HR dropping very low, seeing my usual EP who I’ve been seeing for many yrs. I don’t want to be fobbed off , just because I don’t fit a regular pattern .

I had planned to write all my questions in a logical order , after a relaxing weekend..... So not a lot of quality sleep💤 .....Life intervened, with other people’s problems, sadly turned out to be a very stressed weekend... we’d been up here on Fri for beloved’s Echo his follow up today, all went as well as could be. So back to me......

Now trying to get my questions together ....

Wish me luck, really hope that I can get some answers re Low HR

Wish you luck, no problem but maybe your time would be better spent focussing on your questions!

Best of luck.

May I suggest you start with your main concern? Sometimes that can take some time to get to but when you do then keep bringing the conversation back to your main concern.

Take a notebook and someone to write in it. A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest, etc. You can have a good chat later as it easy to miss important bits of information. Keep all your information and letters, etc, in a folder and you will be able to find it again.

Royal Brompton is a very good hospital so you are in good hands, but getting information about what is going on inside you is quite difficult. In my experience the information they want to capture is your resting heart rate, and any sudden drop in pulse and resting blood pressure. I have just had a loop recorder implant inserted to try and capture what is going on.

I hope they identify the source of your problem, get the data, and come up with a solution.

Wishing you good luck, it’s a very good hospital, my son was treated there years ago when he was 3 years old.

Best wishes to you
