I had a bit of a scare last night and in the early hours of the morning. Had a bout of heartburn which sent my heart rate all over the place- I thought I was back in AFib again after having a successful cardio version on 11th December!! Heart beat was very random at resting 130,115,45,140, 57,120 etc. Played a round of golf too (very badly)and was very breathless at times, gradually feeling better as time passed by - on return to home at 12.30 I used the Kardia and normal sinus rhythm had returned. No abnormal heart beats!! Resting heart rate now a constant 57bpm. Phew!!!! What a relief!!! No more fried turkey sandwiches for lunch followed by ham egg and chips for supper followed by 5 celebrations heroes chocolates and a glass of red. Sensible eating from here on in! Thanks for listening !😀

You said it all.....glad it’s calmed for you & sense is returning. It’s really easy when you feel well and just how easy it is to be tempted with all those goodies which others can indulge in all around you but your heart needs a bit of TLC. Best wishes.
I do that to myself too. I’m going to stop it now. What is a fried turkey sandwich like?
Not very nice. But please don’t tell my mum! Apparently we as kids use to love fried turkey sandwiches. It was a trip down memory lane for my mum yesterday morning and I would do anything to please my mum!!! Let’s just say my taste has changed indeed!
