prior to being diagnosed with PAF, my resting heart rate was always between 68-72

now on bisoporol my resting rate is between 52-60. Is this ok does anyone know?

Heart rate between 50-100 bpm is considered normal. Yours has slightly altered due to the beta blocker just slowing your rate down slightly. Nothing to be concerned with at all unless you feel faint or have chest pains.

That looks quite normal to me especially if taking a BB. Mine is much lower without BB at 46 bpm.

Certainly check with your doctor, but looks good to me. Feel blessed that you have that heart rate.

my doctor said she wants my resting HR at 55. Which is most of the time now. I get a horrible cardio fitness score on my Apple Watch now because of it.

I was trying to improve my fitness as shown by the Apple Watch. It’s all gone now. Am having to start again. I’m struggling to increase my heart rate with exercise. You the same?

Both my HR and Diastolic run at 58 naturally but nobody seems bothered.

Mine sits at 43-50 resting. 90% of the time nearer the 43. I've had 2 EP's in last few years, both totally unconcerned. I keep telling myself I am like an elite athlete, remember seeing a documentary on the cyclist Chris Hoy, whose resting HR was around 40. They told me not to worry about it, so I don't. AF already has enough to worry you, so I've scored that off the list.

good to know that because I was worried.

I tell myself the same 🤣🤣🤣

I think it's fine. If you have any concerns you should check with your doctor but it's a perfectly average HR.
