Your distressed heart secretes a hormone to make you pee to get rid of salt. Perfectly normal if you have AF.

It's called "increased micturition."

While normal urine is yellow-ish AF urine is almost colourless.

Sudden bladder activity, akin to Niagara Falls, is often my indicator that an AF episode has begun.

Bob is correct. The heart secretes a hormone to reduce your blood pressure. Search for Atrial Natrurietic Peptide, ANP. A-fibbers call this The Big Pee

Even more importantly, this is normal! Frightening the first time it happened, but now the new norm during an episode!
