Does flu jab effect resting heart rate my rate dropped to 33 bpm but recoverd to 50/60 after a while I’m 74 had permanent atrial Fibrillation for 3 years on 2.5 bisoprolol 125 digoxin 20 mg rivaroxaban and 20 mg simvastatin

Flu jab shouldn't do anything other than protect you. No live virus there. Only issues for people with egg intolerance as virus grown on eggs.

I have had them many years .. perfectly o.k. BUT this year 12 hours later went into my first full blown A.,fib in over 3 years since I had my ablation. Then three days after i.e. this this tuesday started coughing. I now have a really nasty lung infection and am on steroids and anti biotics. Now I query which caused which. The flu jab causing the A.fib or the lung infection was lurking in the background and caused the a.fib.

GP said we will "take precautions" next year.
