Anyone on Eliquis and baby aspirin as well. Cardio has just added the baby aspirin

aspirin is usually to stop platelets clumping too much!

Why? Do you have cardiac artery disease or a stent or artificial valve? Here in UK aspirin is little used in AF unless there are other reasons.

yes I have CAD as well but no stent required as blood flow is good

Hi deAblo

When I had migraine aura post ablation the doctor recommended taking aspirin with Apixaban for the pain associated with migraine ( in my case the pain was mild to non-existent), but I declined for fear of increasing the risk of intracranial bleeding. I managed fine without it. I think it's important always to query the purpose of a prescription, it turned out I didn't really need it.
