I thought I would share the scene from my sitting room, looking west. Peaceful and dreamy - enjoy!

We don’t either - and the same view changes by the hour.

That is so beautiful, Finvola! Thank you for sharing it. I'd have a hard time leaving that room. 😊

Where, generally speaking, do you live?

Finvola in reply to

I live half way up a mountain on the north coast of Northern Ireland. The view above is across Lough Foyle to the Donegal hills in the Irish Republic, 10 miles away.

Hi Finvola,

Beautiful photo. How happy I also was to see a familiar name in our AFib association as someting has happened to my healthunlocked site. Nearly all the other posts are about a condition called PMR and I am wondering how this has happened. Would any other frequent contributors like Flapjack or JedMasterLincoln etc be able to tell me how to fix this problem please?

It sounds like you are somehow in the Polymyalgia forum instead of AF. If you click on the My Hub icon on the top left you can find the AF forum and save a link to us. Others may have a better idea. . .. ...

Fabulous view, do you have room for a little one.?

Looking west looks great, but it leaves me wondering if looking east it's just a chaotic mess of motorways, factories, smokey chimneys and honking horns... ;-)

Actually I know it isn't because I've spent a bit of time in Northern Ireland. The Antrim coast is very special.

Nope, if Finvola looks east she sees me. 😂 (Or would if a large headland wasn’t in the way).

A much better proposition.

The commandment says “thou must not covet thy neighbour’s ox” and of course envy is one of the seven deadly sins.

Can’t help breaking that commandment on this occasion.

We go to Skye most Aprils and always treasure similar lovely views.

How lucky you are it must be so good for the soul.

Thanks for posting.

Very similar coastlines in Ireland and Western Scotland Pete and we were joined by land at one time - Staffa’s cave and the Giant’s Causeway look alike.

We were fortunate that the farmer was willing to sell us an old tumbledown farmstead and, you’re quite right - the views do calm my soul. Which is why I thought this pic would have a good effect on people.

Been to Staffa and into the cave.

Yes I knew the volcanic rock formation ran under the Irish Sea linking to the Giant’s Causeway. It is an amazing sight.

So good to enable coping with “you know what “
