Calcium and Bisoporol, Rivaroxabane and Ramipril

I have been on the first 2 of the above meds for 2 years and have also just been prescribed Ramipril. I have persistent AF and am on waiting list for Ablation. I am thinking of taking Calcium to strengthen bones etc. Anybody have an experience of this and whether or not it causes detrimental interactions with the other meds or if it is bad for AT etc?

Thanks

Please discuss with your pharmacist as they should know the answers to any interaction better than we or you doctor.

Thanks Bob. I intend to do exactly that but just wanted to hear about other people’s experiences as well

How long have you been persistent and how much longer do you have to wait for your ablation?

I’ve been persistent for nearly 2 years now. The waiting list for Ablation is 1 year so I’ve been told

Oh dear. Where is the ablation being done? It would be to your benefit to speak to the manager of the cardiology department to speed up your date and definitely put your name in for a cancellation. . Afib begets . It would be to your advantage to do some reading on persistent afib which will explain that time is not on your side when you are persistent.
