Fluid retention after ablation?

After 2nd ablation My feet are very swollen as well as ankles. Is this expected??

I didn't have swollen ankles except when I was prescribed a calcium channel blocker.

My Cardiologist said that you must elevate your feet because WATER ALWAYS RUNS DOWNHILL.

Feet were great 2 mths before ablation. .Swelled the morning after and are still swelled. I have them elevated in my recliner. Take 20 mg of lasix ad. Dosent seem to matter.

I didn't have any swelling after my three ablations and they were all carried out in the summer months. Has it been hot where you are today?

Not extremely hot. In mid 70's yesterday.
