I’ve just taken 100 mg of Fleicanide; 2 pills that were 50 mg per tablet. I meant to take 1 Bisoprolol pill of 1.25 mg. I’ve taken a double dose of Fleicanide. Should I go to the hospital? I would really appreciate some responses regarding this.

Fleicanide
The patient information leaflet that comes with the meds says if you take to much contact A&E or your Dr at once, you could call out of hours for advice.
I take 200 Flecainide as a PIP. The 24 hour limit is 300 so I’m sure you will be fine. There are people who take 100 morning and evening. Di
Thank you. This is very reassuring 😊
My husband used to put out our respective pills ( no longer!) .He gave himself my flecainide and me one of his heart pills. I noticed but he'd already taken my flec. No effect whatsoever.
He now has doset box for his and I do my own!! Good to check though
You'll be fine, a lot of forum members take that dose (100mg) twice daily. It's so easy to make a mistake though and I guess we've all done something similar.
Absolutely fine. 100 mg is a benign dosage and what virtually everyone who uses it for PIP would take as a normal dosage. That said, flecenaide is a serious drug so all of us who use flecenaide need to be careful (especially if there are small children around) - but you have nothing to worry about taking 100 mg. You can probably just miss your next dosage.
No you can take 300 mg per day. I was on 100 mg twice a day at the beginning of my treatment. Xx
Good you called the doctor. When I was first prescribed flecanaide I was on 100 mg. twice a day. I soon began experiencing dizziness, pronounced weakness, a sense of “swirliness”, and nausea. My pulse dropped to a very weak 40 bpm and blood pressure was equally low. I am 5’ 8” and weighed around 135 pounds. Dosage was switched to 50 mg. am and 100 mg. pm. I had no more difficulty. Hated the drug as there were other physical ailments that surfaced which I had never suffered before, e.g. swollen feet, spider veins on ankle regions, chronic tinnitus, light flashes, etc. So happy and blessed now to be medication free.
I had a cardioversion about 2 1/2 years ago and everything relating to my A.F. went fine . on Warfin andHeart Beat averaged between 55 and 62 and then about 2 months ago I experienced a dramatic change in my tinnitus to the point I was told that I required something to tone down the 24 HR noise in my head so I got some Hearing Aids and they just mask the noise but last week I called my Cardiologist and told him that perhaps me taking 50 MG of Fleconide twice a day could possibly cause my Tinnitus because we had tried all the other Drugs that I take for Blood Pressure and to my amazement the Tinnitus totally disappeared, now silence for 4 days so I hope it continues.
