Hi!

I have been to hell and back for 3 months and in 2 weeks am supposed to finish taking it, I hope all the extra symp that this caused go away :(

Hey John!

Yes i did I have been to my dr at least once a week or once every 2 weeks since i started taking eliquis. Once I was sent to the cardiologist according to him all looked good, once sent to gastronterologist, has an endoscopie, all looked good. It has been no fun at all. Have been put on all kinda of extra tablets for the side effects.

Gp wouldnt change eliquis.

Sorry no med professional would consider changing it .There are several alternatives. Are you the only one convinced it is the drug causing your issues?

My drs in Germany said there is not enough to back up the side effects they keep telling me its pretty new.

Hey Anna, side effects are real to anyone who has suffered on heart medication. Only 2 weeks left so stick it out now it seems pointless changing for that time. I had the same problem with beta blockers, cardiologist telling me it's fine. Well it wasnt and I changed after insisting. Miles better now. Also on a side note, I have allergies to my dogs which gave been bad recently. I went through 5 types of different antihistamines to get some relief. It was actually the antihistamines that were making my breathing worse! Listen to yr body, it will tell you, it's good like that 👍

It might be worth getting in touch with the company. They have very swish info and maybe interested in your experience if nothing else

Why are you taking it anyway?

I developed a blod clot in my right calf after falling down and then taking lobg flight. Never in ny wildest dreams did I ever tought a fall and then flying would cause that. After falling I was fine didnt even hurt. Bruises came out like 2 days later.

I was on Eloquis for an Ablation Procedure I later cancelled because I'm trying to beat this at my terms before I start frying my heart. At the time I stopped many supplements due to fear from the doctors. While still on Eloquis I started taking fish oil and turmeric again and within an hour I was getting double nose bleeds for hours at a time. Did some research. Now I take them both 2x/day at a cost of about $60/month vs. $400. I have a CHAD2 score of 0.
