I have been on Eliquis for 5 weeks. I have a headache today and do not know what to take for the pain? Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, the only medication is Tylenol. But I have had good results with melatonin. 10 mg pill

Thank you, I will give it a try

Co-codamol should be ok if your headache is bad. Solpadeine max is the strongest OTC available 12mg codeine & 500 paracetamol in each tab & the dose is 2 tabs.

2 paracetamol for a minor headache is ok.

I’ve been on Apixaban (Eliquis for 10 months).

Paracetamol is fine, but nothing like ibuprofen/nurofen/aspirin. Hope it goes soon

Paracetamol is normally safe, and at one time I was on liquid paracetamol than up to 12 per day, 2 every 4 houra, do not take ibuprofen/aspirin with heart conditions unless prescribed. . Again, this is the advice given to me, but always check with a proper medical professional before taking anything.

Just take paracetamol.

Avoid at all costs taking aspirin and ibuprofen and Nurofen.

Try and sit it out? Get some fresh air, drink cool water, it’ll pass!
