Just got home,it wasnt Proff.Osman (again!) but one of his team.My Ecg was perfect,bp 130/62,so far so good.

When he looked at the diary,he was concerned that some of my episodes occur in the night, waking me up.I get an average of 2 shortish runs of low level AFib in a week, sometimes less .I havent had any flutter for months.

So plan is for me to remain on list,he will discuss with Proff.Osman on his return.Meantime he suggests that I take flecanide again on a daily basis (not too happy about that as im positive it actually made me worse!) I think i might just wait on that one until he has discussed with Proff.Osman.When I saw him in january we tallked about using fkec as pip,and it does work well for me like that,

Staying on apixaban of course, and my blood pressure/statins.

I am to continue with the diary and return in 6 months for review.

So overall happy

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes today xxxx

I'd be wary of flecanide if it were me, only because I believe it made my flutter worse whilst trying to control my fast AF... but everyone is different.

Good luck with the regime!
