Verapamil from sotolol
Only a Cardiologist can initiate treatment with some heart meds e.g Flecainide. 4 weeks is quite quick for an NHS referral, assuming you are UK based. Speak to your GP before changing any meds (i.e. don’t just swap back from Verapamil to Sotalol). All heart meds are potentially dangerous unless in expert hands.
Take care

Im awaiting my 4th ablation and have trouble with both of those beta blockers and now my cardiologist has told me not to take them anymore and I now am waiting my fourth ablation after numerous cardio versions and a stroke best of luck with the game they seem to be playing
I took 2 x 240 mg Slow release Verapamil for about ten years it and Losartan are the only two drugs that did not cause me problems. Initially verapamil game me constipation.
