Tired fatigue 8 weeks post ablation

Hi I'm 8 weeks post ablation.since I got off meds 1 week ago I'm feeling weak and fatigued worse than I was 4 weeks post ablation my heart is still regular besides the odd flutter just wanted to know if anyone experienced this

People always underestimate how long it takes to recover from ablation which is why we produced our fact sheet available from AF Association.(or see Pinned Posts) I would , however suggest that you contact you arrhythmia nurse where the procedure was done if you are in any way concerned.

Hi it took me 10 weeks to recover from my ablation. I agree with Bob definitely underestimated. Everyone is so different. I wasn’t improving after 7 weeks so went to my doctor and he said my heart resting rate was still too high so he put me on a beta blocker which once in my system did help me start to do more and recover quicker. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
