Hi all. It’s interesting to read about everyone’s ectopic problems, usually described as a fluttering in the chest, but I also get an overwhelming desire to close my eyes as it makes me feel so tired!
However when I have an episode of ectopics, I only have a few a minute (use Kardia) and the tiredness seems an extreme reaction to a mild episode.
Just for info I am on amiodarone for AF, which has been brilliant at stopping my AF but of course Will be coming off this after 9 months because of possible side effects (see what happens then!).
Also on usual beta blockers and an ace inhibitor.
Does anyone else get very tired during ectopic episodes?

Hi, I can't help much with why you feel so tired during episodes of ectopics, but I get days when ectopics seem to have a field day, caused I believe by anxiety. I feel tired after they have settled down, but have put that down to anxiety making me tired. I have been doing breathing exercises as soon as I feel the ectopics, which is really helping to calm them down, and keeping me calmer too! Sorry not to be more helpful but I would mention when next you see your GP. I find ectopics very aggravating. Sorry not much help. Best wishes Kath. X
