Hi Everyone. I have been having quite an unpredictable period of AF where symptoms are changing but still affecting my quality of life. I can manage my high AF with pip which normally last 5 to 8 hours at a time and happening up to 5 to 6 times a month without going to A&E which am happy with. BUT now I am getting days where I feel my whole body is shaking inside and I am feeling breathless at times and generally not felling my usual self. I am just checking in to see if anyone has went through this or may of heard of this before as I am confused and not sure if going to my GP will help. Thanks ps I am on 1.25 Bisoprolol and take 2 co codamol 30/500 for pain that runs down my left arm especially at night.

If I were you I would go to me GP and get an ECG doen whilst it is happening so they will know what it is. No point in guessing.
Hi bobD thanks for the reply ECG would tell a story but I am in NSR while this internal shakiness is happening and heart rate is 63? Just hoping someone has experienced this to help shed some light on it cause my other thought is anxiety.
I keep having it and isn't it a strange unnerving feeling. It's comes out of the blue and feels really weird. I am in nsr when it happens. I feel the need to hold my chest when it happens to try to still it, silly but I can't just ignore the sensation somehow as it's quite a surreal feeling. I have it quite a lot coming in phases. I have had it this past week including yesterday and today.
It feels as though it's a precursor sometimes to an afib episode as if to warn me somehow. Sometimes too I have the vibrations in the days following afib even after flecainide pip has stopped the afib itself. Most often though it just happens as a stand alone feeling.
I saw my EP last week and mentioned it, also having more ectopics and longer pauses. I am to have a 24 Hour holter monitor and an echo in the coming weeks to see what's going on. I would mention it to my EP if you have one or their nurse if available, failing that ask your GP. Best wishes.
