8 weeks post Ablation update

8 weeks post 2nd Ablation for A F and flutter, and things going ok so far,

Had a bit of dull ache in heart for the first 3 weeks then had a few stabbing pains in heart on and off about 3 weeks ago, but heart calmed down now no pains at all,

after my Ablation My resting pulse has been steady 55 to 60 with no A F or eptopics and weened my self off Amiodarone, since iv'e come off amiodarone my 2 years of all day head aches has gone now got clear head,

I'm not celebrating how well things have gone, just pleased because you never know when A F is going to strike back,

I am now 9 months post ablation. Did have a 6 minute episode in February, but outside of that can't complain. I would assume that sooner, or later A Fib will return. I also had pain in middle of chest, but it resolved itself. Trauma to the heart during ablation maybe the cause. Wish you luck.

I am now 10 weeks ablation with no episode of Af. I am 52 years old. I run 5 km two times weekly,I go to gym also two times weekly (light weights) and I play football every Saturday. With diet my BMI it’s 26% and I don’t drink coffee and alcohol.I wish you the best.
