Hi,
Could anyone watch this video and complete the survey that follows.

where's the link to the video?
Watched the video and completed the survey. The video was kept simple for a lay person to understand (such as me) and explains a-fib very well. I think it would help someone recently diagnosed to understand the condition better.
Best,
Paul
The video was oversimplified to the point where it was of no use at all.
Agree with S11m video too simple not enough information.
I agree with both doodle and s11m that the video was very simplified. However maybe this is the general ideal - it`s for people who are newly diagnosed and have no prior knowledge of what a-fib is, or the associated risks. The video seems perfect as an introduction for 'a-fib newbies' to understand the key points about the condition.
Best,
Paul
Paul I think there is a reason the video is simple, the first thing they ask for is your email I think it is a way to harvest emails in order to promote an app see the page at the top of the survey....
''Medsmart makes it easier to take control of your medicines. Manage your medicines by finding and scanning the barcode on the medicine pack, set up smart reminders for when you need to take your medicines and share your medicine cabinet with yourself or others.''
If they are just showing a video why the need for our emails address . The terms and conditions state..''By providing your email address you are consenting to becoming a member of our Medsmart® Community service''.
Because foolishly filled in the details and have now opened myself up to being spammed .
Got yer Doodle A quick online check shows what the app for for. It seems to be used as a reminder to take your med`s. You scan the barcode of your med`s using a tablet / phone and it reminds you when to take them. The website says it`s free to use so maybe it could be useful for some.
I`m not sure what being a member of the 'Medsmart® Community service' involves though ! I too, like you gave my email address.
Best,
Paul
I watched the video, and completed the survey. I have had A fib for too long for it to be of any personal use but can understand how it may be useful to someone newly diagnosed, or to show to a partner/friend to help explain it to them.
I have had AF for 13 years and I did not know there were to types
Not happy with the survey, it appeared more geared to harvesting AF sufferers email addresses than anything else. The video was very short and basic not covering a variety of important aspects of AF such as PAF, Meds, etc. I've tried to remove my email address and hope this has worked.
I did the survey - but did not give my email address.
I think that one of the problems is that medics are not technical enough to work out how well a pump is working.
I was bemoaning the fate of engineers to a doctor - and he told me that he would have been an engineer if he could have managed the maths!
abandoned it half way, realising it was a scam. hope my email hasn't been registered
