Ablation pre admission

I went for pre admission yesterday. As it will be my first ablation I found the detailed information session with the nurse very helpful and reassuring. I also had the usual ECG, height, weight, blood pressure and blood tests. Well worth the 140 mile round trip.

I have read the two ablation fact sheets so hopefully I am now well prepared for the ablation next week then the recovery period. This forum is very helpful - thanks.

Good luck next week. A large majority of ablations are successful. We usually only hear about the ones that weren't so the odds are with you.

Good luck. I heard today I have provisionally been booked for March 28th.

Do let us know how you go.

It is reassuring to hear from people whose ablations have been straight forward and who have got back to normal quickly. I hope you'll be one of those. 😀
