The Vagus Nerve is more relevant to some with AF than others. This post is relevant to those that have a sensitive VN. I have been free of AF for over 4 years now however I have had during that time 3 occasions when I have felt it start, which believe it or not have arisen twice from visiting favourite places and the latest 3 weeks ago from just thinking about shortly visiting the same place to do some work there that I am passionate about. In each case, I immediately sat quietly and focussed hard listening to a 'slow heartbeat' on my iPad that you can get up on YouTube. I was back to normal in minutes. So my point is, it is possible to use a sensitive Vagus Nerve to reverse AF - daily practice of meditation can help to focus the mind when needed. Hope something there helps.

Vagus Nerve - I did it again!
Thank you will try that.
I've often listened to a slow heartbeat on YouTube too and it can certainly help. Jean
My vagus nerve didn't like my first ablation - I passed out in the lab!
do you have a link to the slow heartbeat? Sounds really interesting
the one I like the best is youtube.com/watch?v=dyzuWGD...
the first link works fine - next time I need it I will give it a go-Thanks
I really think you have it exactly correct for many people who suffer with arrhythmia in particular AFIB. I had an episode and ended up in the ER of AF. I moved from the small gurney from paramedics to the ER bed and did the valsalva maneuver and went in to NSR immediately. I also had to speak before our assembly and I was nervous. Went into AFAfter just thinking about my testimony. The VN really plays a huge part in these heart issues I believe.
