Hi just wondering if anyone's using HAWTHORN TEA OR DANDILION TEA rather than Furosimide for water retention.
I have noticed three are some bad side effect with the drug. Thank you very much for reading.

I've been on furosemide for a number of years..10 I think. There are side effects to all drugs so you need to weigh up the pros and cons which I'm sure you are doing. Do check with your pharmacist st least before trying Hawthorn or any thing similar.

I am not med. trained but I have taken Furosimide for water retension around the heart.
Hawthorn is ,I believe, used to help improve the hearts rythmn so no connection? Furosimide is prescribed but not so Hawthorn so beware mixing Hawthorn with prescribed meds.
Thank you for your reply.
Furosemide can affect the kidneys but regular blood tests can keep an eye on that. I've taken it for about 8 years with no problems.
