Nebivolol

Does anyone have experience of taking Nebivolol. Particularly interested to know if used to treat AF (usually for high blood pressure). Any side effects? What other drugs taken with it? Any experience with AF? Any experience with a pacemaker? Same questions for Digoxin. Thank you

I was changed from Bisoprolol to Nebivolol in May and the only thing I noticed was a mild headache for the first couple of days. My AF is controlled with Flecainide (2x100mg) and my Nebivolol dose is 2.5mg. I have normal low BP and heartrate around mid sixties.

The awful breathlessness and fatigue which I had with Bisoprolol stopped when I started Nebivolol and I feel better than I have since diagnosis nearly 5 years ago.

I was switched from Bisoprolol to Nebivolol nearly two months ago. My understanding it is that, as a Beta Blocker, it is used, in my case, to maintain a lower heart-rate and hopefully help prevent Afib. As Finvola says and i agree, in my experience the side effects (in particular extreme breathlessness) are far less apparent than those attributed to Bisoprolol. However, i am aware that what suits one person may not be suitable for another.
