Cold sores

Not remotely AF unless this nuisance illness is responsible for cold sores too, but does anyone have a recommendation as to how to deal with them? I am using Zovirax but could do with something stronger.

I think you may be better going to your pharmacist for advice.

I did seek out advice from the pharmacist, but he was no help, however the link you provided was. Thank you

Valcyclovor or similar oral anti-herpes med would clear it up much quicker. The virus stays in your system however. Be careful about any oral-genital contact.

I think this would be a prescription drug here.

As someone else said Valcyclovor an anti viral is great for this problem you can only get it on prescription but works really well
