Ectopics on waking

Hi, I’ve had ectopics for many years now but something has changed in the last two months, whereas I now seem to wake each and every morning to strong ectopics (set AF off on one occasion) they seem to go altogether once I get up and go about my day, they are hampering my sleep - anybody had any similar experience?

Hi Karl, yes I've heard of people having this problem just when lying down. Hopefully, one of them will be on the forum later and be able to give you some advice.

It’s strange but I get this if I’ve been dreaming. This morning I woke at 5.30 and felt fine but fell back to sleep for 20 minutes. I had a dream in that time and woke feeling my heart racing with ectopics and a feeling of panic. It’s past now but is this what you experience, do you dream ?

Wow , I’ve had that same dream of my heart racing and EPTOPICS , wondering if it’s not a dream as I constantly wake up about 3-4 each morning and usually I think my hearts racing , I’m on flecinaide which keeps my AF in check but since going on it get EPTOPICS here n there

I do but it doesn’t seem linked to my ectopics, this is a recent thing (last couple of months) And I cant seem to find a cause / trigger - thanks for your response 👍
