I have a HR meeting scheduled 5th September - a week before I meet Occupational Health for an update which seems a bit daft.

Hi Vonnie :-) pleased to hear your day went ok. I guess going back to work was the highest hurdle to jump and it must have been very daunting for you, well done :-) . Now that is been mastered things shouldn't be so bad.

Early to bad for you I think, don't get too tired.

That was a major step today and well done for achieving. Be very pleased with yourself and use this as a sound basis for going onwards. Make sure though that you go at a pace you are comfortable with.

Gwersey profile image
Gwersey in reply toVonnieruth

You had the tilt table done yet

Gwersey profile image
Gwersey in reply toVonnieruth

Yes and it showed negative for POTS. Diagnosed with hiatus hernia and eosophagitis last month. Pray you never need an endoscopy. I'd rather give birth than have another one. Been taking omeprazole for 6 weeks, 40mg, but hasn't helped if I'm honest. Still dizzy, nauseous and have ectopic beats all the time. My family have compassion fatigue with me!! Hell, I'm sick of listening to myself moan!!! But I do feel like crap most days.

Vonnieruth profile image
Vonnieruth in reply toGwersey

Aw that's not good .Mine got sick if hearing me I went doctors asked for something as I'm always burping He gave me something for ibs.In not taking those thank you very much So what happens next with it

Really no idea Vonnie. Go back to GP? Ask my (wealthy) brother to lend me money for a private consultant? Plod on?

I hope work went ok for you and you get back to your normal routine soon.

Vonnieruth profile image
Vonnieruth in reply toGwersey

In phased return so not doing full twelve hours yet When that arrives I will see if I can manage them If not I will leave Will be sad as I do enjoy my job If you ever want a moan or a chat message me we can moan together and give our families a break lol

Well done, that’s the biggest hurdle the first day and you’ve done it! I’ve been off work for six weeks now after my ablation and have had frequent AF episodes since. My BP has been very low which doesn’t help the situation! However, I am starting my phased return to work today, I do shifts so I’m returning for six hours for the first two weeks and then we’ll take it from there. I’m very jittery and anxious this morning but trying to keep calm. I suppose I’m just dreading having an episode at work on my first day back but I’m hoping once I get the first day out of the way I’ll feel a bit more confident. Wish me luck!

Vonnieruth profile image
Vonnieruth in reply toMaura5

Aw hope all went well We practically went back together I also do twelve hour days but only doing five at moment

Maura5 profile image
Maura5 in reply toVonnieruth

Thank you, just got home, extremely busy shift so did seven hours not six, right in at the deep end, I was ok but on the way home the ectopics started with a vengeance 🙄 never mind, tomorrow’s another day. I’m glad the first day is out of the way I was really dreading it x

Vonnieruth profile image
Vonnieruth in reply toMaura5

Hope your ok now Please don't let work put on you They have to support you in everyway possible Too much could result in you making yourself ill Not them Please remember that

Maura5 profile image
Maura5 in reply toVonnieruth

Well, I had 2 hours of AF this morning, back in NSR now but ectopics still there 🙄

I’m just so fed up with this!

Vonnieruth profile image
Vonnieruth in reply toMaura5

You off work today Rest up if you are Don't push things I was going shopping today but felt so tired this morning I cancelled going

Maura5 profile image
Maura5 in reply toVonnieruth

Yes, luckily off today, I planned my return to work so I would just have 1 day on then a few off to break me in gradually, glad I did now! You rest up too, the shopping will have to wait!

Thank you so much for replying x

Vonnieruth profile image
Vonnieruth in reply toMaura5

I to planned In for two days off now for three The I do my three in three off Do you know you can ask for holiday pay to be added to your reduced hours
