Hi Grussell :-) I take Magnesium Taruate which was suggested by Dr Gupta and is the one specified as being particularly beneficial to the heart .

biocare.co.uk/magnesium-tau...

I only take half the dose to top up what is a magnesium-rich diet.

I notice you’re in the USA. You have a great US based site called ‘Afibbers’ where various supplements are discussed including Magnesium. Set aside a couple of hours at least for a good read up.

( I take magnesium Citrate.)

I put magnesium flakes in my bath and a magnesium spray on my legs when I remember.

I have magnesium citrate tablets but they make my stomach sore, so not taking anymore

I take magnesium citrate. 600 mg per day. The tablets are 200mg so I take 400mg in the morning and 200mg in the afternoon. I also take D-ribose 10mg , L-carnitine 500mg, Co-enzyme Q10 200mg and fish oil 1100mg.

Also take 5mg Bisoprolol per day in 2.5 mg doses approx 12 hours apart.

That's probably a longer answer than you were asking for but I thought I may as well give the full nine yards.

I take practically the exact same. Dr Sinatra protocol.

I take Triple Magnesium Complex (Nature's Truth) 400mg once daily. It contains magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate and magnesium aspartate. I occasionally take a 200mg tab of magnesium glycinate (Kal) if I feel the need. All the comments have been so interesting. Good question!
