Update again!!

Sort another update, had a phone call from the hospital today I have been referred as a non urgent appointment so maybe about a month or so. On paperwork it said atrial fibrillation/flutter so we shall see. To be honest it helped me relax just to here that I had been referred as non urgent!! Lol xx can I just say thank you to everyone who has helped me the last few days you have all been amazing and a complete god send x

can I suggest you use the time to prepare the questions about the issues which are worrying you the most Lotty and if possible, take someone with you because the chances are you may not be able to recall all the answers to things you discuss......good luck, please let us know how you get on.....

Flapjack has given great advice, as always! I also find that once my questions are down on paper, they don’t swirl around my mind any more, which makes it easier to relax x

Hi Lotty I was passed over as none urgent appointment in May I go next Thursday for my first appointment since diagnosed af Glad yours is also Was toldi had to be on system for appointment with in twelve weeks

Yer I'm on Apixaban Bisoprolol 2.5mg to slow heart rate down and losartan for bp

I was told to go blood clinic for my Apixaban just spoke to a nurse and got them Bisoprolol I was given by doctor on acute medicine ward when my GP sent me there Doctor rang after my 24 hour monitoring and my heart scan with result

I haven’t had a heart scan yet, just my bloods and an ecg x

My bloods were fine apparently That was in May Scan is ok it's like what you have when pregnant lol I was as anxious as anything Lay as stiff as a plank lol

I had a 24 ecg but that was about 5 years ago and just showed ectopic beats x I suppose I will have the scan at my referral x
