Apps are regularly updated. You need to go to the App store to see if there are any pending.

It probably updates automatically, but if you go to the Play Store and check 'My apps' you can see if it has. I see what you mean about not being techy 🤓

Cheeky 😆 I checked and my updates are all done automatically. I was thinking of uninstalling and starting again. What do you think ?

I've sent an email to Kardia as it seems I'm not the only one whose device stopped working yesterday.

Hi Sandra,

I am having the same problem, caused by Kardia 'updating' the protocol. The app thus stops working on ‘older phones’.

An example of an overbearing IT meddling with our products. I keep on battling with the Kardia reps here in OZ. Hope you too find a solution

"An example of an overbearing IT meddling with our products." I too take a dim view of this kind of practice. That is one of the reasons that I don't run any Microsoft software that I can possibly escape from. (I use Linux mainly). Having paid for the hardware, it should be able to keep on working without need for 'updates', unless the update will improve it's performance in some way.

Those with an older 'AliveCor' model rather than the 'Kardia' one should block the update to their software until this has been sorted out, if ever.

Thanks! I am in communication with them at the momemt

I see that the recent iOS update forces you to encrypt the PDF before emailing it. Not even an option to allow you to send it in the clear. Very poor.

I have a 6s Plus with automatic updates on and it did work yesterday. That said, I did notice the interface changed a little in the past couple of days, specifically when you want to email a file. Before it was clear, not a little bit confusing. Sometimes they can't leave a good thing alone!
