May be ridiculous to ask,but my best friend and i always planned to have a rebellious little tattoo when we reach 60! Now i am on anticoagulant Apixaban, I expect this is not now possible? Anyone know for sure?!!

If not shall have to content myself with dyeing my hair purple!!

I'd go for purple too - silver shampoo teamed with jewel-bright clothes. (I sound like my granny)

Sorry, can't help with tattoo.

Yeah, forget the "tats "... Not so rebellious now as everyone has them...be different don't have one at 60 and still rebel! That's what I am doing having just turned into the magic new decade!

I nearly had an another ear piercing but then thought nah and ordered an ear cuff and some cool ear jewellery that need no more holes and lots of nice comments from all different aged people .... Lots out there and purple hair good, although quite popular here in crazy Brighton!

Have fun in your new age!

Hi I had a tattoo this month and I am on apixaban, my doctor told me to stop taking 24 hours before having the tattoo, it’s the same procedure if you’re having a tooth removed or keyhole surgery...... anyway it’s been done and healed really well, it’s your body do what you like
