This is a broad subject. Can you tell us a bit more about what you want to know? I assume you have AF?
Actually I want to take vitamin B12 sublingual 2500 mcg along with a one a day vitamin
I do have a diagnosis of Afib for about two years now...I take Coumadin 10 mg and Cartia XT 120 mg....haven’t had any issues for about a year now...but I’m always afraid to try anything different because I worry if it will put me into an attack....most MD’S here in the states don’t want to hear about vitamins and or supplements 🤨 thanks for answering
Presumably you are short of iron? B12 is necessary in order to absorb iron (as I understand it). Does this mean you are very tired? The tiredness could well be a result of the AFib. I think it would be wise to get your iron levels checked, and also discuss your AF symptoms with a knowledgeable doctor, before taking so much B12.
I doubt B12 would cause an attack of AF unless your body wasn't able to get rid of the excess. Any excess B12 is probably lost from your body via the liver and/or kidneys, so get these checked before starting, to make sure they are working well.
When we are in AF often not enough oxygen is being pumped round the body, so we get tired . . . Remember - It is possible to have AF attacks, and not know we are having them.
( I am not medically qualified, but I use vitamins and read a lot about them, and also read about AF for obvious reasons! You may find the writings/website of Patrick Holford helpful re supplements in general, and drjohnday.com re AF)
