Info on "Prolozone therapy"

Earlier today I ran across a post about something I never heard about-Prolozone therapy- evidently a type of homeopathic? series of injections for joint pain that helps rebuild cartilage and may help people to avoid knee replacements and the like. The poster was <Kayakcarole>. Haven't been able to find it again. Does anyone have any info on this subject. I did google it and found out quite a lot but there's nothing like hearing someone's personal experience. I also couldn't find info by typing in the therapy. Very interested in finding out more. Thanks. irina1975

hello Hidden. I’m so sorry that I never saw your question prior to today.

I had multiple Prolozone injections that initially worked quite well. When they no longer seemed to be helping, I found an orthopedic surge who recommended Hyaluronic Acid injections . She prefers Hyalgen to Synvisc and says she has had better results from Hyalgen. I get these injections in one or both knees every 3 months. On Medicare and supplemental insurance I pay nothing. Without insurance can be quite expensive. It helps. I also take 3 Curamed capsules ( 750 mg each of Curcumin and Turmeric made by Terry Naturally) nightly. In addition, I try to follow an antiinflammatory diet. I also use Pacer Poles made in England instead of traditional straight hiking poles which take pressure off the knee .

Good luck!
