How long did your Heart pain last?

Hi all! I had Cyroablation 6 days ago and still have soreness in my chest...is this normal. It hurts mostly when I breathe deep. I am going for my first post-op appointment tomorrow. My groin discomfort is nothing like my chest pain. Thanks for any info.

I didn't have any chest pain following my ablation, nor groin pain. Guess I was lucky?

Don't worry, the gallbladder pain has more than made up for it. I wouldn't wish that on anyone

I had a little chest pain during the procedure itself but nothing afterwards.

Im 7 days past mine and it still stings everyonce in a while, mainly when breathing.

Hi Tyffica,I'm 2 weeks post ablation and chest discomfort lasted about 6 days. Didn't have groin pain until I started taking short walks 4 days ago. Only lasted 2 days now pain free.

Everyone is different. I had no chest pain afterward, and the groin pain was minimal.

I had quite bad chest pain for three days then it suddenly got much better except when breathing really deeply. My nurse specialist said inflammation from the op. Hope you improve soon.

I had a pulmonary vein Cryoablation and felt nothing after the first day . However I had an Rf ablation on the 26 Feb and i I can still feel that now although the pain has much reduced during the last 3 days.

I suspect it depends on the individual sensitivity of the person as well as which bit of the heart the ablation has been done on ( or has it affected a pain receptor)

My chest pain was quite bad initially and took the best part of 2 weeks before all soreness had totally gone.

Hi there, yes I had cryoablation and it lasted for quite a while . If I took a deap breath in it would make me cough. And felt kind of strange at in the chest and throat . All normal, and mine lasted weeks.
