Hello there,

I had a pacemaker fitted last October, and for qutie a few weeks after I was having afternoon sleeps. Don't for get his is quite a procedure they ae doing, and people tend to get baise about pacemakers are they are common. So take it easy and listen to your body. Remember your heart is a muscle, if you pulled a muscle in your leg you would rest it, unfortunately you can't rest your heart. Take care, it does get better

I received a dual pacemaker in November. Was very sore for quite awhile, surprise to me, since I expected to be up and about doing my usual things. I was tired and also got very short of breath with a smallest exertion. Had the pacemaker adjusted and that ended that. Now I feel very good and energetic. I also take a betablocker and Rythmol.

Thank you for your reply, puts my mind at ease, thinking I should be feeling better. It’s only two weeks so I must be patient. Have had problems for over 30 years ( not all bad) but as we get older these thing seem more traumatic, and obviously worry more, so your reply’s are so welcome x Val
