Hello. I was diagnosed with af in January 2017. After trying tablets to control it (which didn't work) I had an ablation on 19/01/18. Keeping my fingers crossed this will be successful. Just wanted to thank everyone on this site as you have seen me through some very scary and dark moments.

Thanks BobD I will. Xx

Hello Julia, congrats, you must be very relieved that the procedure is over. Lots of rest for a couple of weeks and don’t get too worried if you have a bit of AF, ectopics or palpitations as it takes a while for the scar tissue to heal....best of luck

Thank you Flapjack. I have been having loads of ectopics and palpitations daily and a bad af episode on Thursday. Thanks for the reassurance. I will admit I don't like them but just got to think it's all part of the healing process and fingers crossed it will work,x
