I've just been given a date for the first part of a Hybrid Ablation in Plymouth, Devon, a few days after my 65th birthday next month. Having read the previous contributions, I'm not sure how long the recovery period for the operation should take, if all goes well. Any past experiences would be most helpful.

I don't have an answer for you but a couple of people on the forum have had a hybrid ablation, I hope they can assist you. Who is your EP. Best wishes.
Hi Uppaton I can't answer your question either but one thing to bear in mind is we are all different and healing varies from one person to another some taking longer than others.
I think the main thing with any procedure is don't rush to do things, give your body time to heal with lots of rest .
Good luck with the operation and enjoy your birthday .
Thank you, doodle68 and 1Jerbear for your suggestions, and I will find out more tomorrow as I have a pre-admission clinic then. I think I will also then discover, Meadfoot, who is going to be in charge of the two operations. Appreciate your kind thoughts.
