Sorry I didnt say it is a supplement which can be bought over counter in most chemist
Yes, very kind. I have just been looking at Cardioace Plus...are they difficult to digest?. I have controlled AFib, on Apixaban. I very much value this website and have learned a lot from you all. I cannot see any contraindications re. medication...did they make you unwell? I am in the chilly Midlands but still very much in G.B.
Hey vjfers, I know it’s Carol you’re asking, but in case it helps, I couldn’t see any reason not to take with AF and apixaban either, other than the usual suggestions of being careful with things that might additionally anticoagulate the blood (eg the garlic). It hasn’t worried me. My cardiologist advised not to take any supplements for fear of interactions, whereas my EP recommended taking a multivit and fish oil
The reason I personally can’t use Cardioace Plus is nothing to do with AF or meds, simply because of my particular risk of intolerance to the plant sterol bit. (I have anaphylaxis with some foods.)
Oh no, not at all intrusive! Just wish I could help more I feel exactly the same and I’m always eager to know what people have been told is safe or wise to take. There never seem any definitive answers though, do there? Tricky! Xx
Hey Carol, you are very kind! I got excited for a mo And was going to take you up on it, but I’ve just noticed it’s Cardioace Plus you’re talking about, not Cardioace (I missed the plus sign!)
Unfurtunately I can’t take Cardioace Plus either. But thanks for your very kind offer 💜
Hey viv Me too! It feels a bit like a minefield, doesn’t it?
I really like Cardioace. All positive reviews from me But I haven’t tried Cardioace Plus (for the reasons I put above in your query to Carol).
Xx
I left them off and it cleared. I am now having numerous xrays and test as I am now unable to digest food very easily which is nothing to do with cardioace. I am not going to take again so I would prefer to donate to someone rather than dispose in chemist. So if anyone wants please contact direct
Hello Carol, you do have a lot to cope with..I hope the tests are not too umpleasant. Waiting for results is not much fun. If you want to pass on the Cardioace.. I would like to try it and if it turns out It's not for me then I would in turn pass them on via this site. How do I contact you direct? I am not very familiar with the protocols for this sort of contact...
Meanwhile...all best wishes for the xrays and tests, Viv.
