Those of this Forum's followers who live in the USA may be interested to know that Dr Sanjay Gupta will be in New York on August 4th. A friend of his is organising for him to give a talk on heart health and those attending will have an opportunity to talk to him afterwards.
He announced this on this evening's Live Chat on Face Book and he gave permission to mention it here.
Dr Gupta said he would be announcing more details once they are finalised.
I gather he also intends to visit the Grand Canyon (on holiday I assume) and this led someone participating in the Live Chat to encourage him to visit California too. It sounds as if it might be possible that he will do the same sort of thing somewhere in California.
Carole (wishing he would do a tour of the UK!)

Here are the details published by the organiser, Vivien Bonnist Cord, and shared by Dr Gupta on Facebook earlier today.
"I am VERY excited to be bringing Dr. Sanjay Gupta to Westchester County, NY (White Plains/West Harrison) on August 4th and 5th. The event will take place at The Renaissance Hotel, easily accessible from Westchester County Airport (15 minutes away), Laguardia (1/2 hour away) and JFK Airport, (45 minutes away). The hotel is in the suburbs of Manhattan approximately 30 miles north. We will share the exciting details with everyone within a couple of weeks. Please save the weekend and start to make plans to join us"
Perhaps the AF Association could invite Dr Gupta to speak at this year's Patients Day in October?
I'm about an hour and a half from him in the UK,but am excitedly considering this as an opportunity to have my first holiday in 7 years! 🙃 If I can find a zoo sitter for my beloved critters, I'm off! 😁
I have, thanks I'd need a zoo sitter even if it was in York, but somehow York, lovely as it most certainly is, doesn't seem quite as exciting a prospect, as it does with 'New' preceding it
