Hi all just a bit of clarification..I have been posting Dr Sanjay Gupta's Vlogs on here for some years now because many people didn't know how or where to find them on YouTube, I have No affiliation whatsoever with Dr Sanjay Gupta I just wanted to pass on his good work help and advice to those who may find some comfort in his work..I have also received a lot of negative messages from those who disagree with these posts but I am willing to keep posting until the man himself posts his Vlogs direct to this forum, I messaged Dr Gupta a long time ago asking for his permission and he approved me posting his Vlogs

Dr Sanjay Gupta..Some Clarification...
I’m with Jean on this Steve, Dr Gupta’s videos have been a Godsend to many and without your efforts, many would not have seen them. In any forum there will be people who express negative views but they don’t have to watch them nor do they have to follow his advice.....keep up the good work!
Ps.....wattsa Vlog??
Really appreciate you spreading the good advice and common sense approach. I'm on his whatsapp group but like others not sure best way to "share"
Steve, I really appreciate your posting Dr. Gupta's videos on here, because otherwise I'd never have discovered him. I now receive videos directly from him via whatsapp. I contacted him yesterday following a discussion on here about the fact that not everyone on this forum uses whatsapp or facebook, and that it would surely be a good thing to make the videos available to everyone, so thank you again. Please don't stop posting because of a few negative comments - you can never please all of the people all of the time, especially on forums 😂
Hilly 😊
Hi Steve, I also really appreciate you posting Dr Gupta's Vlogs. In doing so you have helped me to 'Look Listen & Learn' so thank you 👏
No matter which ever way i look at it, i canot logically find any reason for a negative comment for posting useful and very helpful (not to mention FREE) medically qualified advice from a specialist cardiologist. Surely, as well intentioned we all are in offering our views and experiences, nothing can substitute for expert, professional knowledge.
Keep posting Steve and thank you for persisting despite the objections.
Thank you Steve. Small minded people do sometimes tend to be negative! Keep it up and thanks for the clarification. Keep up the good work.
I have emailed Dr Gupta asking him to post them direct as they are such a valuable resource
Thank you Steve for posting in the past, it has been much appreciated by me and I have learned a lot from the videos, keep posting.
I wish people would realise that if there's something you don't agree with or like you can ignore it.
I have always valued you posting them Steve, thank you.
I am glad you are posting them as Im no longer on facebook and probably wouldnt be aware of them otherwise. Thankyou so much💜
Not a problem Hoski and I’m glad that you and others find them helpful, like you I don’t use Facebook but whenever Dr Gupta posts on YouTube I just share them with the forum hoping people can understand this condition a little more and maybe answers to questions that they feel they didn’t receive from their own specialists or GP..
He is a unique doctor, I would be in the shadows of the valley of ignorance if it werent for forums like this and Dr G. My cardiologist is not helpful at all re education. My EP is all about patient education but it took him a year or more to pop the question re ablation and when I replied no, he didnt seem interested in courting me any longer, lol. Im here in the USA, sadly we patients with health insurance are too often viewed as $$.
And that is the only reason I post these Vlogs as my own personal experience like yours has been I would say trying to be polite "eventful"...my orginal GP had very little understanding of the condition and the two specialist I have seen have given me totally different advice and paths to follow..when I changed my GP on the advice of forum members I was again frustrated by the lack of awareness of this condition and with an attitude of here are some tablets go way with no follow ups whatsoever...I find Dr Gupta answer such a lot of questions and advice on how to manage this sometimes confusing condition..I wish you well Hoski
I really appreciate your posts Steve, please dont stop. I only wish Sanja Gupta was my consultant. X
Thankyou,i wish I had heard about Dr Gupta before, and I have been given different advice by various drs,I watch all his videos, has really made a difference to how I cope with AF.was disharged from hospital because I didn’t want ablation, have ask to be referred again, and have a six month wait now.
It’s baffling that people don’t seem to appreciate efforts to inform and pass on knowledge. Had it not been for you I doubt I would have heard of Sanjay Gupta, so thank you Steve and please continue posting. And if you find any other hidden gems, share them too.
Thank you for regularly posting the links. You say you have received "a lot of negative messages from those who disagree with these posts".
Was it the fact that you were posting Dr Gupta's videos, or the content of them. or something else? How many is "a lot'?
I appreciate your posting them thank you Steve.
I believe the negative comments that I have personally received can only be from those that maybe have had conflicting advice from their own what they think are very good consultants/ specialists..I myself been on the receiving end of totally conflicting advice from equally respected specialist and of course I have no idea who is correct hence my quest to seek knowledge from the Interweb and I guess find a specialist and advice that feels sympathetic to my needs and I believe I found that when I stumbled across by chance Dr Sanjay Gupta....in answer to you question of how many I guess more than 20 but the overwhelming support I feel his Vlogs offer to so many far outweighs the Negatives and if people do not agree with them then please don't watch them..
I certainly was most grateful to you Steve for posting Dr Gupta’s vlogs and learned so much that helped me to cope with the condition. I cannot imagine why on earth anyone would object to them. Strange world we live in.
Thank you Steve, I have tired a few times to post things from Dr Gupta but I am not very good with computers. But thanks to you we have all had a chance to benefit from the good doctors help and advice.
Thanks Steve!
Hi Steve your posting the Dr Gupta videos has been greatly appreciated thank you.
I have found them such a help.
Some readers of the forum forget they have a choice - skip the post. Personally, I don't, and thank you for the trouble you take. I much appreciate it.
Hi Steve,
I have found Sanjay Gupta's videos extremely helpful and am so very grateful for your links to him. I subscribe to one of his sites on You Tube, after finding him via you, but don't have Facebook or What's App or whatever, so when he uses these channels I miss those posts. If he links to the AF site that would be valuable to me. Many thanks .
I was having a lot of ectopics (30,000+ a day) and it caused Heart Failure at level four (God's waiting room).
I needed to know whether my heart could repair itself if I somehow managed to get the ectopics down a bit.
Enter Dr G....
In one of his priceless videos (posted on here -Thank you Steve) Sanjay said that the heart COULD repair itself if the ectopic burden was reduced.
I got my ectopics down to about 300 a day and my heart specialist discharged me as my HF was now down to level 2 and improving.
Is that enough proof that posting the vid's was worth it?
Thank you Steve.
When Dr G posts on here I'll put a longer post on explaining how I did it.
George
That's fantastic George that you found that particular Vid beneficial to your incredible story...I'm sure "Dr G" would feel immensely proud that his work has helped you in such a way..stay well George.
Dr Gupta is my cardiologist and any question you ask he directs to his web site. You can learn soooo much !
Hello Gwersey, sorry I've taken so long to reply - busy busy.
My heart failure was caused by having 30,00 or more ectopics a day - my heart was getting too many mixed messages.
My ectopics were caused by taking Tramadol for arthritic pain. (A known side-effect.)
Please bear this in mind as my "cure" might be specific to my situation.
I read a post on here about some research into the effects of Iodine and I spent a couple of weeks researching it myself.
I came to the conclusion that, as I had no contra-indications (thyroid problems specifically) I could give Iodine a try.
I bought some Nascent Iodine from a company called Harmonic Innerprizes.
I chose this because it is in a vegetable glycerin base.
I started with one drop twice a day and built up over a week to three drops twice a day.
After five days my ectopics stopped bothering me.
I reduced the dose gradually to three drops once a day to find a good maintenance dose. I have stayed at this level for well over a year now and still have no ectopics to worry about.
Please remember to do your own research and that, because my problem had a specific cause, the Iodine might not work for everyone.
Here's hoping...
George
I am eternally grateful to you for posting links to Dr Sanjay Gupta’s videos, they have helped me HUGELY! I joined this site in Sept post ablation , when my EP discovered that I had A Fib not the benign SVT that they were expecting. They had to shock me back to sinus rythmn 3/4 times. Dr Gupta’s videos have been a Godsend, what an amazing man. Skilled Cardiologist , with the gift of explaining and sharing knowledge as a kind, caring human being . Thank you! I have put many friends on to Dr Gupta now, he is utterly amazing!
